Golden, CO – The Colorowdies Mountain Bike Crew ramped up for the season with our first Ambassador Team meeting of the new year. We met in Golden, Colorado at the home of Quanta Aesthetic Lasers, one of our supporters, to outline our mission and vision for the season ahead. We are pleased to introduce our new leadership team, ambassadors, sponsors, and supporters.

Our leadership is made up of myself (Tony Bentley), Jeff Watrobka, Liz Cunningham, Travis Barrett and Jeremy Bradshaw. Liz and Jeff are essential to our Leadership Team and have both have served as leaders since our inception. Travis and Jeremy have both represented our ambassador team in past years, and are well engraved in our culture.

We have also identified team leads for each of our focus areas:  Race, Trail, Community, and Media. Race Team Leads are Brett Kreyche and Leigh Bowe. Trail Team is led by Brad Reeder and Dax Julian. Community is headed up by Carrie Dittmer and Emily Sherman. Our Media Team is the conglomerate of Adam Burke, Alex Molick, Betsy Welch, Sean Hreha, and Tony Bentley.

Returning ambassadors include Ariana Dittmer, Bri Dilley, David Ziegler, Jackie Shea, Jonathan Yaseen, Justin Oelke, Katie Gillen, Mia Phillips,  Taylor Bonga, Travis Cottrell and Zach Kepczynski.

New to our team are Alyssa Miller, Christian Little, Don Ransin, Jason Russell, Kyle Harriman, Lauren (Ren) Presley, Nate Smith, Neal Jordan, Parker Moore, Robert Klima and Tim Gormley Jr.

We are excited to announce a new sponsorship from PDC Energy. PDC will contribute funds to assist our trail work, advocacy, and community efforts. We are also welcoming new sponsor support from Dirtlabs Suspension, Miles Racing, Fit 36, Onus IV, Denver Sports Recovery, Five Ten, Troy Lee Designs, Dakine and Gore Bike.

We are equally as stoked to continue our relationships with Golden Bike Shop, Oskar Blues Brewery, Honey Stinger, Smith Optics, Industry Nine and Ergon Bike.

Some new events for 2018 include, Mission Trips, Roundups, Skills Clinics and Progression Sessions. Colorowdies’ Mission Trips will be three day events that will be held in Grand Junction, Crested Butte, Telluride and Moab. They will include two days of riding and one day of trail work. They embody our philosophy: get rowdy and give back.

Our Race Team’s presence will be felt  at Big Mountain Enduro, Enduro Cup, Revolution Enduro, and other events across the rocky mountain region.
